They say that winning the lottery could be the worst thing for a person. In my case, they were right. I found myself suddenly with all the money the world had to offer, and made poor choices like marrying a fraudster in gold mining and buying wine that tasted like gasoline. My days were filled reading bad romance novels, flying around the world and lounging on piles of cash. After being surrounded by empty promises and bottles, I finally came to my senses. My energy and time are now devoted to giving back, through charitable donations and volunteer work at local shelters. I would rather spend an evening with a good novel and a glass wine (that actually tastes delicious). Although material Reviews possessions can come and go, the value of genuine human connection will never be replaced. This is the first time I've ever understood it.
