Monster Island 2019, The Asylum's 2019 mockbuster, was released just in time for Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Monster Island is an island where a monster might be found.


The asylum movie has a budget that is as big as a kid's meal. It uses it wisely by focusing on just a few people and keeping the large Monster Island Asylum movie actors on one set to record all sequences during lunch. However, this is the kaiju genre, so maybe The Asylum won't do a horrible job?
